EVENT OVERVIEW

As we look for our next generation of Machine Learning Strategists, we like to take a more inspired approach to exploring our company culture.  SAP encourages a fast-paced, start-up environment while being a leading global organization, but we also open ourselves up to be more inviting beyond just the corporate setting.  We aim to engage and interact with our audience in a more open setting.

On Tuesday June 11 at 5 pm CEST, SAP is taking over the Palmengarten in Frankfurt for a free exclusive networking event.  Attendees of this event will be able to connect with various diverse members of the SAP community from all over Germany and speak about the opportunities with hiring managers, senior leaders in our company, and recruiters. 

Of course, we aren’t coming alone.  SAP has invited award-winning darts players to compete live for the event.  They will bring their skills and insights as darts champions to entertain all attendees.

INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW

SAP is currently expanding  SAP Leonardo, a team within Technology & Innovation (T&I) that provides the latest machine learning technology services to customers, helping them to improve their business results based on scientific analysis of large amounts of business data. Additionally, they apply existing machine learning models or create new models to build the “Intelligent Enterprise.”

SAP Leonardo Machine Learning is part of SAP’s intelligent technologies portfolio and one of the key drivers of the Intelligent Enterprise. It is our mission to infuse all enterprise applications with machine learning and to empower our customers to make the most of their business data. Our team is located in Germany, France, Singapore, India, Hungary and the US and exemplifies a start-up like, innovative work environment.

This internship/ Working Student position is a good opportunity for a candidate interested in Data Management, Analytics and Reporting, Product Portfolio, Strategy and Operations.

As an intern on our team, you will:

• Learn about SAP´s vision for the Machine Learning and the Intelligent Enterprise
• Serve as the key operational contact for reporting and work very close with the Strategy team on defining and executing the unit´s reporting needs.
• Be the unit´s expert for MS Office reporting tools, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Independently collect and validate input for senior management reporting
• Streamline reporting through a digital dashboard
• Gather valuable project and stakeholder management experience

You will be or bring:

• A current Student at a university or a university of applied science
• Pursuing a University degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel, including Queries and Power Pivot Tables
• Good knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications, especially Power Point and SharePoint
• An eagerness to learn and passionate about software technologies, particularly Machine Learning
• Good communication and teamwork skills with an ability to understand others’ ideas as well as articulating your own effectively
• Fluent in both English and German

 Preferred, but not required:

• Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud and Digital Boardroom – or a willingness to learn
• Prior work experience or internships related to business analytics and streamline reporting
• Very good presentation skills
