For the Onitsuka Tiger department in the European Headquarters located in Hoofddorp we are looking for a:

Product Marketing Assistant

Objective of the job
The Product Marketing Assistant is responsible for developing a certain product group ranging from market research, making concepts, evaluating designs, making color proposals and collecting market feedback to finalizing products.

Reporting structure
The Product Marketing Assistant reports to the Manager Onitsuka Tiger. The Manager Onitsuka Tiger formulates, in co-operation with the Product Marketing Assistant, the concepts that have to be realized, and stays updated during the development process.

Relation pattern
The Product Marketing Assistant has a creative role in translating market demands (from ASICS sales offices and important retailers) into new concepts. Towards the sales offices of ASICS Europe and the distributors, the Product Marketing Assistant has a supporting role concerning all kinds of questions and requests. The Product Marketing Assistant maintains external contacts with distributors, ASICS Japan, ASICS USA, ASICS Australia, retailers, suppliers, agents and manufacturers.

Main responsibilities
• transfer market feedback from retailers, trend agents and sales offices into new concepts (in cooperation with other ASICS offices);
• explain and represent concepts towards head office;
• evaluate designs according to the concepts;
• collect market feedback from different sides in order to improve sample proposals into a new sample stage;
• making color proposals;
• register all information concerning the product group in order to help all sales offices with questions and define technical documentation.

Job requirements
• MBO/HBO performance level (commercial background);
• Excellent level in English communication;
• Willingness to travel;
• Affinity with fashion trends;
• Active / interested in world of sports.
