PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Software Lifecycle Validation team is part of the Production Services Line within Intelligent Enterprise Group which has the following responsibilities:

• Ensure that SAP Software is assembled in a standard quality
• Ensure that SAP Software components can be installed and maintained

The Software Lifecycle Validation ensures completeness and correctness of all SAP components by acting as the very first customer. Our goal is to improve customer satisfaction and to increase the solution quality in terms of Software Lifecycle Management (SLM) end-to-end scenarios and platforms.
The Software Lifecycle Validation Team is currently represented in three different locations in Germany, Ireland and India. The position is offered in the location in St. Leon-Rot.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

While software lifecycle testing needs to be done manually, automation around those tests is key for our service to be efficient and competitive. Given this we are continuously investing in automation and are looking for support.

In particular, we would like you to assist us with the following:

• Development of scripts automating tasks on operation system and database level using perl, python or ruby
• Maintenance of existing scripts
• Development of test modules in ABAP

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Student at university or university of applied sciences
• Preferred fields of study: Computer Science, Engineering or related
• Computer skills: Programming experience, Windows and Linux skills preferred
• Language skills: English and German
• Soft skills: Team oriented, open minded, communicative
