PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The SAP Core Platform team stands for SAP's technology layer that is used by millions of business people all over the world. In small and agile development teams, we innovate on compilers, virtual machines, higher-level application services, and development environments to make SAP the best-run enterprise software on all supported cloud and on-premises platforms. Among our technology partners are companies like Google, Amazon Webservices, Microsoft Azure, and VMware. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
We are looking for smart and highly motivated students who want to gain experiences in an inspirational learning and working environment for

• Various development tasks in different programming languages like Java, Java Script or Python
• Planning and realization of Continuous Integration pipelines in the area of SAP Cloud Platform ABAP Environment
• Support with Open Source contributions and community management focusing on abapGit and sapcli
• Project support

We offer you a working student contract for 6 months. During this time, you will work in our offices with close mentorship by SAP development teams.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Bachelor/Master student of computer science, natural science or mathematics
• Excellent grades
• Good programming skills in Java, JavaScript or Python
• Good communication skills and fluency in German and English
