PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
As the global market leader for business software, SAP systems impact a considerable part of the world’s economic transactions. At SAP, you will have the chance to put your ideas into action with maximum impact.

At the Innovation Center Network (ICN) we solve emerging business challenges by pioneering new technologies and creating transformative innovation at SAP. As part of our Marketing & Communications team you will support our efforts to position ICN topics on internal and external SAP channels, in the media and through executive presentations by creating compelling stories about our projects, managing our communication platforms and supporting key events.

Location for the position is Potsdam. There is a shuttle for SAP employees running from Berlin to Potsdam and back every day.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Writing articles, blogs, and posts about our projects, our team, and our way of working for internal, online and social media
• Maintenance of our website, social media and internal communication channels
• Creating compelling presentations about ICN content and maintaining standard slide decks
• Reporting and monitoring of our communication activities
• Operational support for the largest SAP hosted external event (tasks could include: support of overall project management, support of content creation, ordering of branded materials)
• Organizational support for internal and external events

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Currently enrolled as Student at a university or university of applied sciences
• Preferred fields of study: Media, Communications, Marketing or related fields like Social Science
• Computer skills: advanced MS Office skills, active user of social media
• Language skills: fluent English required, fluent German skills advantageous
• Soft skills: strong team working skills
• Others: self-driven, creative, reliable, open-minded, well-organized, active user of social media and multimedia channels, passionate about writing and creating compelling stories for innovation and technology topics

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
