European Fundraising Student Support (m/w/d)
Rare is seeking a motivated and committed university student to join our Global Development team in Berlin as part of the German Werkstudent program, contributing to a global organization that empowers communities to protect nature and drive change.
Was du machen wirst:
Responsibilities are proposal development, donor research and outreach, and general team coordination. This will include coordination of meetings, preparation of briefing materials, internet research on donors, and helping prepare proposal components. The student worker will support the Senior Director of Global Development and the team of fundraisers and will operate in accordance with Rare US and Rare Germany policies and procedures.

- Eingeschriebene:r Student:in an einer staatlich anerkannten Hochschule
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills; experience in project planning or management is an advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
- Proven ability to learn quickly, adapt, and work independently
- Highly organized and able to meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong interest in working for a nonprofit organization

Extra Informationen
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in or near Berlin, in a field relevant to Rare’s mission
A background in fundraising is not required; however, experience or interest in nature conservation, international development, or behavioral sciences is a strong asset.
