Trans Hauptdarstellerin (w/d) für Spielfilm "We Are Dancers" gesucht!

Berlin, 1932. Hitler is rising to power. Trans queen Hansi Sturm must overcome the arrival of her partner’s former lover and his growing seduction by Nazism in order to save her relationship and discover the need for queer defiance in this new Nazi reality.

With the campness of CABARET, the drama of HAPPY TOGETHER or PASSAGES and the aesthetics of BABYLON BERLIN, WE ARE DANCERS is a dramatic love story, a homage to the artistic/social expression of 30’s Berlin and a celebration of LGBTQIA+ lives, history and heroes; reminding audiences that queers have always forged horizons of beauty and freedom from the ashes of war and hatred.

Our story is set in 1930s Berlin and our lead HANSI is German, she is an artist and performar. We are looking for a Trans Woman or a femme-presenting Non-Binary person.
