Becoming a German Language Assistant in a Spanish school with Meddeas is a unique experience that will stay with you for your entire life. During one academic year, you will enrol a structured programme and cooperate in one of our more than 200 educational centres.
Moreover, you will add international experience and transferable skills to your CV while discovering a new culture and language and receiving a monthly income (1,003€), which is more than enough for living in Spain as a student.
You can teach children aged six to fifteen, learners' German levels range from beginner to advance.

Dates:
- September 14th 2016 until June 13th 2017
Selected candidate will:
- Join a Spanish school to cooperate as a German/English language assistant with 22 teaching hours per week
- Receive a 20 ECTS foreign languages-teaching related certified course, given by a Spanish university and provided by the programme.
- Receive a monthly grant: 1,003€/month.
- Have support from the school´s designated Tutor and from Meddeas, helping the language assistant in his/her task. (School is located in Madrid outskirts)
- Teach Primary and Secondary school students (aged 10 - 18) and teachers.
- Be a native-level German speaker.
- Qualifications: degree in German OR any degree OR DaF course OR degree in Education OR degree in Traduction
- Have advanced English skills (B2/C1).
Furthermore:
- Enjoy working with children and/or young people.
- Be energetic and imaginative.
- Have no prior criminal convictions.
- Being competent in the Spanish language is recommended, but is not necessary.
- Recent graduates (last four years).
