1. Job Description
Since 1994, Amazon has continuously expanded its product selection and innovated on behalf of customers in an on-going effort to fulfill its stated ambition of being earth’s most customer-centric company. Since 2015, Amazon.com has started reinventing on behalf of the business customer and is focused on building Amazon Business, the largest and most innovative Business-to-Business (B2B) marketplace in the world, and we are recruiting a handful of the best of the best to make this vision a reality in our European markets. Amazon Business represents an incredible opportunity to address a vast new market segment and customer base and is an area of high interest for Amazon. Our customers include individual professionals, small businesses to large institutions (and everything in between). Our business customers have different needs than the traditional Amazon customer, and we are reinventing everything from how we display our selection, price our products, and provide the right customer experience. The Amazon Business Team is looking for a talented and highly motivated Learning Program Manager to support our rapidly growing organization.
This role will be responsible for formulating and implementing learning and development initiatives with a primary focus on educating Customer Advisors (CA) across Amazon Pan-EU countries, and may require traveling up to 50%. The Learning Program Manager will assess challenges and build performance solutions, lead the development of training best practices and standards, enable solution implementation across the Amazon Business network, and drive the execution of designed learning solutions. The Learning Program Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing new hire training and sales education, with a particular focus on creating agile and scalable learning solutions. This role will work with multiple stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Product Management, HR, Business Intelligence, EU Customer Operations, Finance, and International Learning & Development teams) to develop consistent material for base-level knowledge relevant to the entire organization, but also create content tailored to specific roles and levels.
