Operation Supervisor in Shanghai Nongchang, Jiangsu Sheng, China

We are looking for an Operation Supervisor to join our DHL eCommerce team!

The successful candidate will be based in Songjiang, Shanghai

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

External Customer
•       Manage the planning process to ensure all daily operation activities are executed and meet according to the customer service levels;
•       Provide high quality services and maintain performance on all level of operations activities in order to meet customers’ needs and expectations;
•       Ensure customer complains/problems related to operations are resolved and any recurring or serious complaints referred to management;

Internal Customer
•       Support and assist to look for improvement and enhancement of the process flow, facilities and equipment in order to cope for continuous business growth and endless customer’s needs and efficiency and operational improvements;
•       Ensure all operational/revenue protection documents are completed accurately and smoothly for the daily collections and deliveries;
•       Ensures that staff have total understanding, familiarity and responsibility of/for daily Operations Process Flow;
•       Provide accurate operations reports such as statistical reports, volume reports, and updates at communications meetings are required

Suppliers/Regulatory Authorities/Industry
•       Ensure hand over processes of shipments and paperwork are normally operated to Forwarders, Ground Handling Agents, Airlines, etc
•       Ensure DHL meets/improves upon its Operations regulatory and environmental obligations, manage contractors service performance levels;
•       Develop and Maintain high level relationship with country agent partners;
•       Represent DHL eCommerce Interest at all levels of government, customs authorities and overseas colleagues;
•       Provide regular ops update, actions, changes and targets and ensures accurate communications and key information are being channel down to the team;
•       Plan and execute staff control to achieve Cost and Productivity KPI;
•       Agree and achieve Transit Time, Data Quality and Service Performance targets


Desired Skills and Experience
•       Experience on an operational floor, leading a team of operators;
•       Experience with international Express or B2C or forwarding environment preferred;
•       Strong commercial acumen;
•       Ability to operate in a multicultural environment;
•       Communication skills (English), spoken and written
