Job summary
Amazon Music is seeking a highly-creative, self-motivated and high-judgement PR professional with a depth of experience and/or interest in digital audio entertainment to join the Amazon Music PR team to manage PR for Germany. This role will report into the Amazon Music Europe PR lead within the global communications team, and will be tasked with developing and executing publicity campaigns for the streaming service locally – from early development, to long-term storytelling opportunities. As a member of this team, you will work with the wider European PR team on a daily basis and lead local initiatives across music, podcasts, and live video, as well as supporting on international campaigns. The ideal candidate will have industry media relationships and experience managing agencies, multiple product narratives, trend story initiatives, and artist campaigns. This candidate must be creative, with excellent communications skills and the ability to work well with others.

Key job responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic public relations programs that drive awareness of Amazon Music and its growing offerings in Germany across music, podcasts, and live video.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholder teams in each locale in order to drive successful launches
• Support multiple global publicity campaigns as required, alongside local activations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key media to generate accurate and positive coverage.
• Remain aware of the latest news in the entertainment and digital audio space.
• Develop messaging and media awareness for key spokespeople and talent for announcements, industry panels and interviews.
• Train and manage internal spokespeople at all levels for external-facing engagements.
• Deliver strategic communications counsel to Amazon Music executives on both short-and-long-term challenges and opportunities.
