ABOUT YOU
The Audio Production Specialist is responsible for the production of our own spoken word productions, including audio books, multicast audio dramas, and podcasts. You are responsible for our own in-house studio infrastructure and leads four recording studios, managing freelance teams for inhouse recordings and productions. This role reports into the Lead, Studio Berlin and Production EU, and works in close cooperation with Audible Studio leaders to create and elevate Audible’s global content creation.

As an Audio Production Specialist, you will...

  • Be responsible for recording, post production and mastering of audio books, multi cast productions and podcasts.
  • Maintain technical equipment and studio facilities.
  • Review, adapt, and refine production workflows and structures.
  • Manage and coordinate our pool of freelance sound engineers, sound designers and proof listeners.
  • Supervise self-recordings of external stakeholders and employees.
  • Work closely with internal content teams in terms of project planning, resource planning, implementation and delivery of final audio.
  • Coordinate with international audio production specialists on latest technical developments and best practices.
