Do you want to help developers build the next great application on AWS? The IDEs and Tools team is looking for a Sr. Product Manager-Technical to help define the roadmap for IDEs and tools to help make developers more productive.

AWS has the most services and more features within those services, than any other cloud provider–from infrastructure technologies like compute, storage, and databases–to emerging technologies, such as machine learning and artificial intelligence, data lakes and analytics, and Internet of Things. Developers and devops users interact with our services in the AWS Management Console as well as from their local IDEs and our mission is to make that experience as delightful and productive as possible.

The AWS IDE Toolkits team is seeking an experienced Sr. Product Manager-Technical to help define next generation developer experiences. Responsibilities include collecting business and systems requirements from internal and external customers, driving product definition from design to release, and managing release priorities. You will be expected to work across teams to define solutions that improve the development experience.

The right candidate will possess a strong program management background that's heavily focused on influencing product decisions and excel at identifying technical and process patterns that to make things simpler and more consistent for both external customers and internal service teams. You will have demonstrated experience leading multiple launches in parallel, and will have a well-rounded technical background in current web technologies.

Your coordination will help us the team deliver cloud-native IDE experiences that are as welcoming as they are powerful. Key job responsibilities

  • Invent, drive and prioritize the roadmap to improve the the product and innovate in the developer experience space
  • Work with stakeholders to determine pricing for new products and services
  • Work with customers to find solutions to their development issues and create delightful developer and devops workflows
  • Collaborate across other service teams and AWS stakeholders to understand and identify new solutions and opportunities
  • Manage all aspects of new product/feature launches including ideation, development, and go-to-market activities
  • Create success metrics and drive product adoption by working with stakeholders and customers
  • Deep dive into technical details to ascertain issues and to recommend alternative solutions
