We are looking for a motivated communication trainee (m/f/d) to strengthen our diverse Communications team in Munich or Berlin. The role requires a high-judgement, self-motivated, and strategic-thinking professional with passion for public and media relations, issues management, and end-to-end project management. The role would suit a creative, determined, versatile individual who takes ownership, demonstrates bias for action, and pays painstaking attention to detail.

Key job responsibilities
• Support the planning, development and execution of communications programs
• Conduct research and media monitoring to support PR team objectives
• Cooperation with media and agencies
• Draft written materials, including press releases, fact sheets, talking points, Social media posts, blog articles, internal newsletters and Q&A documents
• Support internal and external events


A day in the life
The program consists of six rotations within the Amazon DE Communications team. Consecutively, you will work with Amazon’s Corporate and Workplace Communication team, which are explaining Amazon as an employer and the company itself to the public. As part of our Consumer and Devices Communications team, you will help presenting our products and devices to customers. Our Entertainment team deals with the latest Prime Video productions. You will be handling media requests when supporting the Media Relations PR team. The rotation allows you to find out which areas your interests and strengths lie in.

During the 12-month Amazon Communications Trainee Program, you will gain comprehensive insights into professional Public Relations work.
