Public Policy Manager in Berlin

Job summary
The Public Policy Project Manager (DE) will join Amazon’s Public Policy and Government Affairs Team that works across Europe, Middle East, Africa, India and Asia Pacific, in support of Amazon’s global consumer business. The International Public Policy team works with a wide range of national, local, and supranational policymakers, industry organizations, NGOs and academia across regulatory and policy issues, spanning the consumer and commercial environment. Like our business interests, our policy issues are broad, forward-thinking, and driven by what is best for our customers.

Key job responsibilities
As Public Policy Project Manager, you will be responsible for preparing, coordinating and supporting engagements with policymakers, regulators, academia and other non-governmental groups in support of our consumer-centric business model. You will demonstrate an astute understanding of the public policy and regulatory environment and have strong monitoring and analytical skills. You will prepare documents and reports for external and internal audiences. You will take ownership of selected projects, working together with Amazon’s public policy, public relations, legal, and business functions.

The position is based in Berlin, Germany.
