Job summary
eero is looking for a Software Development Manager to take on the challenge of building a multi-disciplinary engineering team and strengthen our engineering location Berlin. We need a leader who can bring engineers from Mobile, Cloud, and Embedded backgrounds together to deliver seamless experiences to our customers at scale.

eero was the first product to bring a whole-home WiFi experience using mesh technology to consumers. Since then, we have continued to deliver more value to our customers through improvements to performance, reliability, and price. We are now looking to lead the way in making the connected home experience even better.

As Software Development Manager at eero you will:

• Grow a team of Cloud, Mobile, and Embedded engineers responsible for maintaining backend systems, improving internal tooling for support and development, and delivering new features for customers.
• Lead the design and implementation of high-scale systems.
• Work with leaders in the US to develop and prioritize a shared backlog of work.
• Create a culture of customer obsession and engineering excellence.

Success in this role will require technical breadth, and strong judgement. You will need to understand the interplay between many different systems, and be able to strategically plan how best to make an impact for the team and customers.
