As a Senior Rapid Response Manager, you will report to the Rapid Response Sales Manager. You will use your extensive enterprise sales experience bridging the gap between permanent Account Manager coverage on accounts and/or where additional focus, efforts and agility is needed. You will sell AWS solutions to business and IT decision makers as well as C-Levels to successfully drive revenue targets. You will partner with the Industry Sales Manager you’re supporting to structure coverage for success and scale your learnings within the wider sales orgs. With your C-Suite relationships, consultative approach, and deep understanding of the AWS landscape, you will act as a partner to your assigned customers and sell a broad range of AWS solutions ensuring their business goals are met. As an individual contributor, you’ll be supported by a cross-functional team (Solutions Architects, Professional Services, Partner Sales Managers, etc.) and will benefit from working alongside the account and leadership team.

Key job responsibilities
The ideal candidate will possess a sales, consulting or technical background that allows them to strategically engage at the CXO and BDM level as well as with software developers and IT architects. You should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a fast-moving territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets.
• Temporary ownership and support (up to six months) of vacant territories to drive revenue, create strategic relationships, and expand AWS solutions during gaps in territory/accounts coverage.
• Partner with local Sales Team and Sales Manager to create a coverage structure that focuses on customer priorities while growing territory revenue.
• Effectively move across different markets and rapidly execute against varying territory and customer goals.
• Drive revenue and increase market share in a defined set of accounts.
• Meet or exceed quarterly revenue and business targets.
• Manage numerous accounts concurrently & strategically.
• Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
• Accelerate customer adoption through well-developed sales engagements and successful go-to-market strategy to achieve customer outcomes.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
• Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
• Ensure customer satisfaction.
A day in the life
Be a critical part of a new Rapid Response Team focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services with selected accounts. The team will consist of full-time Account Managers focused on temporary assignments supporting the high growth market in Germany. As a Senior Rapid Response Manager at AWS, you will have the exciting opportunity to directly impact the growth and shape of emerging technologies and drive migration and transformation of our customers. You will have the unique opportunity to work with accounts in different industries across Germany. During an assignment, you will immerse yourself into the local market by building relationships and creating value for your customers and the team you will be working with. Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, AWS adoption, and cloud migration in a variety of high-profile Enterprise Accounts working with line of business (LoB) decision makers and CxO suite. Rapid Response Managers have a unique perspective of our business. They will be involved in sharing best practices across DACH and EMEA and help shape the go-to-market strategy for the Enterprise segment.
