eero is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to help grow our existing automation framework to test our mobile apps while identifying areas to make the framework more flexible and re-usable.
As a Software Development Engineer-Test for eero, you will have an enormous opportunity to impact the customer experience, raise the bar on quality, impact architecture design, and implementation of cutting-edge products and services.


Key job responsibilities

• As a Software Development Engineer in Test on this team, you will be leading test automation and infrastructure development, testing new design and architectural choices which have a significant impact on our systems, our business and most importantly, our customers.
• You will be working directly with developers, QA Engineers and product managers to ensure quality development and quality of our applications and platforms.
• In addition, you will be assisting team members in writing tests for new features, analyze test results for making release decisions, and automate performance testing for publishing benchmarks.
• You will work across multi-functional teams and with engineering leads to prioritize automation projects and groom automation backlog.
• You will also have the opportunity to act as a guide and mentor to other team members.

A day in the life
As an SDET on the eero team, you will work with software engineers to build automated test frameworks that test eero’s iOS and Android apps.
You will own the infrastructure, tooling, and validation of the app, and collaborate with the app engineers to develop and launch features.
