Join our Berlin team! We're building an ecosystem of services that are used for Onboarding and voice/remote-based control of 3P appliances like TV, AVR, and soundbars with Fire TV. Our charter is to integrate customers' entire A/V ecosystems into the Fire TV experience, seamlessly onboarding and enabling control via Alexa voice and Fire TV remote.

You will have the opportunity to make a large impact on the design, architecture, and implementation of a product used every day, by people you know.

The role is inherently cross-functional. You will work in close partnership with different functional teams and partners in Amazon to deliver key initiatives that impact millions of customers.

This is a high visibility team owning a key piece of Fire TV technology, where you will get a chance to make a positive impact on many aspects of customer experience.


Key job responsibilities
Drive delivery of Fire TV DC team's services features.
Invent and Simplify to grow team's scope and level of coverage through tools and implementation design.
Impact architecture as we expand our integration into Alexa's SmartHome ecosystem, and leverage new protocols and standards.
Own new initiatives from concept to delivery, for features impacting millions of customers.

A day in the life
Work closely with FTV Experience team across Sunnyvale/Seattle, Berlin, and Chennai.
Integrate with Alexa SmartHome.
Deliver support for new technologies like Matter.
Participate in Agile development with complete team ownership of the scope and domain, working with PM and TPM on-site in Berlin (We own our features, and entire team sits in Berlin.)

About the team
We are the Fire TV organization's Berlin branch. Our 40+ member team owns both client and service implementations for a number of domain areas, including Device Control. We are managed and supported by a Berlin-based leadership team, and are responsible for the roadmap we deliver to Fire TV for worldwide-spanning features.
