Amazon Flex is digital economy meets last mile logistics and is a fundamental component Amazon Logistics – Amazon’s own last mile delivery organization. Amazon Flex works directly with independent contractors – called delivery partners – to make deliveries to our customers. With Amazon Flex, individuals can now be their own boss delivering Amazon packages on their own cars and at their own schedule. Amazon Flex is digital by design and it leverages an app that works in concert with our advanced logistics systems to allow delivery partners to on board, schedule delivery times, guide them through their deliveries with in-app mapping and navigation, and more. The approach and technology are nothing short of disruptive, and Amazon Flex is literally reshaping the way the industry operates.

As part of our high-pace expansion plan, Amazon Flex Middle Europe is building its team to expand its operations across Germany, Austria, Benelux, etc. We are currently seeking a Regional Field Operations Manager to drive the expansion throughout Middle Europe. We seek an experienced, passionate, dynamic, analytical, innovative, hands-on, and (most importantly) customer-obsessed operations manager. This individual will work with functions that cut across the entire organization, including technology, transportation, operations and customer service, to drive a great customer experience for our program.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, feels at home working within an operations environment, has a strong passion to change the way the industry operates, has not only good analytical skills with super attention to detail but also possess superior inter personal and communication skills, and is comfortable working independently to drive growth and change in a fast paced environment. An extreme bias for action is an absolute must, and candidates must demonstrate a superior track record of delivering results.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven, successful experiencein an operational role within a highly operational and technology focused environment. This role entails extensive traveling with ca. 60% of time spent at the different delivery stations in the regions. The ideal candidate should also be able to display the following skills and experience:




Key job responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison between Amazon Logistics Stations and Amazon Flex Middle Europe Leadership team.

Continuously look for improvements to standardize and drive at scale in all Amazon Logistics Stations

Execute Amazon Flex DP scheduling strategy in country, in partnership with Product and Technology teams based in Seattle

Lead and coordinate large, complicated projects with multiple stakeholders including Product, Technology, Marketing, Shipping & Delivery Services, Legal, PR and Operations

Launch new Flex products and features in collaboration with the Flex Product and Tech teams and Amazon Logistics
