Your tasks and goals

• Thinking from the user’s perspective with an eye for detail, accuracy and correctness
• Working in close collaboration with development and product teams to ensure a smooth user experience in our web and mobile applications
• Openly discussing possible chances for improving existing workflows and processes
• Seeking and giving feedback on your work and that of your coworkers via multiple channels (one-on-one and group meetings, code reviews)

Our QA tech stack: TypeScript, Jest, Playwright, Docker, GitHub actions
Our tech stack for frontend and backend: Ruby on Rails, NodeJS, Vue + Vuex

Your background

Required Qualifications

• You are enrolled at a German university for at least two more semesters
• Strong ambition to deliver high-quality web applications
• Some experience in programming, especially using JavaScript or TypeScript
• Fluent English in speaking and writing
• Preferably based in Berlin

Additional Qualifications

• Prior knowledge of test automation (Puppeteer, Selenium, Playwright or similar)
• Passion for building good UI and UX including a good understanding of patterns & best practices
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and working in an agile team
