About us:We are a PE firm dedicated to investing in financial services across Europe. In July 2018, we completed the final closing of our € 180m fund that is currently being deployed in startups that have reached the series A & B maturity across Europe. We are currently raising our second fund of €400m+ So far, we have invested in 17 companies:

1. Friss: a fraud-detection specialist for insurance companies
2. Ravelin: a fraud-detection specialist for online merchants and payment service providers
3. Pretto: a fully-digital mortgage broker
4. Descartes Underwriting: a insurance broker focusing on specialty, climate change-related risks
5. Viabill: an alternative payment provider.
6. Epsor: Employees savings & retirement plans solutions.
7. Agicap: A cash flow forecasting tool for SMEs.
8. Likvido: invoice management and debt collection software for SMEs
9. Akur8: AI-based pricing software for insurance actuaries
10. Memo Bank: The new bank for entrepreneurs
11. Hypatos: AI-based data-extraction engine for semi-structured documents
12. Bdeo: video-based damage assessment software for the car and home insurance industries
13. Modular Bank: a provider of modular platform for banking software
14. Tesseract: Digital asset lender
15. Hawk:AI: AI-powered anti-AML software for financial transactions
16. Mooncard: Corporate expenses management software and credit cards
17. Finlex: Distribution platform for Financial Lines (D&O, cyber etc...) insurance product

We are actively looking for our next investments and therefore looking for awesome interns to assist our team of 10 investment professionals in finding the most ambitious entrepreneurs that are reshaping financial services.

Your recurring tasks

• Work directly with the investment team to source, screen and analyze potential deals from across Europe
• Support the team in managing investor relations
• Work with and help support portfolio companies
• Do market deep dives, research notes, and help in various marketing efforts

Our ideal candidate profile

• Top-tier university (Master-level) with an excellent academic record
• Strong analytical abilities (previous experience in finance, consulting or audit is a plus)
• Enthusiastic, hardworking and curious
• Fluency in German and English is a mandatory requirement, fluency in French is a plus
• Experience in a fintech startup is a plus

6-month full-time Internship at a top European Fintech VC

• Firsthand contact with ambitious fintech & insurtech entrepreneurs in the DACH region
• Wide-ranging knowledge of the latest European fintech trends
• Understanding the inner workings of the Venture Capital industry
