Amazon is looking for a passionate thought leader in our EU After Market Services team who will execute towards our 'Zero Cost of Returns' and ‘Zero Defects’ vision in close collaboration with EU Retail teams.
Your priority will be to further develop and scale the commercial success of our vendor returns negotiations on pan-EU level by creating world-class negotiation frameworks for our EU Retail partners. This includes paving the road with new strategic approaches to identify ways to avoid returns or increase the options to generate a “second life” for returned products, while ensuring at the same time that vendors continue to cover their cost of returns. The Senior Product Manager will be an integral part of EU AMS and will work with Retail teams across EU, which can also include direct participation in select business negotiations. The role requires close partnership with subject matter experts and a large number of internal EU and WW stakeholders, such as Retail Category leaders, Legal, and Returns, Recommerce & Sustainabilty teams and will require strong Earn Trust and Backbone. You have an outstanding personality with a vision to optimize reverse logistics processes end-to-end and a passion for continuous profitability improvements and thrive in complex negotiation situations.

· Simplify and translate complex asks to negotiators
· Partner and drive negotiations together with multi-functional teams
· Solve complex problems by designing and scaling simple solutions leveraging strong analytical skills and a sound business acumen
· Bring a unique mix of Earn Trust, Backbone, Ownership and Think Big
· Develop and improve tools to collaborate with vendors around our ‘Zero Defects’ and ‘Zero Cost of Returns’ vision
A day in the life
You will be responsible for the commercial success of returns negotiations and identify sustainable solutions to collaborate with our vendors to reduce returns for the benefit of our customers, vendor partners, Amazon and the planet. You will bring in your own new ideas, improve and scale existing processes to ensure we keep pace with our continuous business growth, regulatory and business requirements. In your new role, you will be partnering with worldwide SMEs, AMS country leaders and senior Retail stakeholders. Your work will influence how ~800 vendor partners across EU and all Product Families collaborate with our key brands.

EU After Market Services’ mission is to reduce returns and related concessions by helping customers keep what they bought and by removing defects in our returns processes (Zero Defects for Customers). When items are returned or damaged, we maximize reuse and recovery to achieve Zero Cost of Returns and Zero Product Waste, while safeguarding customer- and selling-partner trust.
