Job description

In your new role you will:

• Take responsibility for relevant safety analysis engineering methods (e.g. FMEDA, DFA, FTA) during product development
• Understand and prove the implementation of ISO 26262 requirements into our leading edge generation of 32bit microcontroller products supporting autonomous driving
• Conduct technical confirmation measures to verify the product meets its safety requirements through analysis and test
• Provide the review of relevant ISO 26262 workproducts
• Contribute to the Safety Analysis Reports
• Be responsible for documentation of relevant customer information and recommendations regarding to the Safety Manual
• Work on relevant cyber security analysis engineering methods (e.g. TARA, AA, VA)
• Support the specification of safety requirements and the definition of safety concept / architecture

Your profile

You take in information quickly, evaluate it from different points of view, and uncover hidden correlations in it. You recognize and use different areas of expertise and skills of the team members. Moreover you share information comprehensively and effectively and identify yourself with the goals and interests of Infineon.You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics or a related field
• You are familiar with microcontroller architecture or you have some work experience in microcontroller development
• Ideally first experience in the field of functional safety e.g. ISO 26262 or other relevant safety standards
• Ideally first experience in the field of cyber security e.g. DIN ISO SAE 21434 and other relevant security standards
• Some knowledge of safety analysis methods e.g. FMEA, FMEDA, FTA, DFA
• Very good communication and presentation skills
• Fluent English skills, German skills are a plus

As part of the automotive business unit the focus of MC is on the requirements of the automotive market from motor cycle to truck applications.
