Technical Startup Resident (f/m/d) in Berlin

As a Technical Startup Resident you will be involved from user experience to backend development and beyond.

40 Stunden pro Woche

What are you going to do:

We are looking for a technical startup resident (f/m/d) for a growing and ambitious team in which you can take responsibility from day one.
Get to know how our engineering team operates and report directly to the CTO and Head of Engineering of SPREAD. You will be involved from user experience to backend development and beyond. Your main responsibility will be in building the software quality assurance and testing for our current and future functionalities.  
The ideal candidate for this role brings the will to envision and create things in a completely new way, the confidence to exchange new ideas freely and the will to tackle problems directly. The duration of your residency must be at least 6 months full-time or at least 10 hours a week if working besides your bachelor’s or master’s program.

 

Your Mission – #spreadyourmission

  • Develop new technical concepts from architecture to new product functionality in cooperation with the CTO.
  • Research and market analysis of state-of-the art technologies and services
  • Prepare and assist with team meetings and presentations
  • Definition of test strategies in cooperation with the development team for SPREAD solution (e.g. from user interface till backend functionality)
  • Create and establish new structures and processes allowing the company to scale efficiently
  • Creation of test specifications and implementation of test cases
  • Development, improvement and management of functional software testing
  • Analysis of errors in the software and corresponding correction
  • Creation of test protocols and test status reports
  • Analysis of test results, error management and reporting

What we ask:

  • Abitur
  • Already earned or currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s program in science, engineering or business
  • Prior internship experience is a plus, but not necessary
  • Basic understanding of programming languages. If you can code this is a plus, but not necessary
  • Excited about challenges and the ability to work independently
  • You are comfortable with multiple tasks and have the ability to achieve goals in a dynamic and high pressure, entrepreneurial environment
  • To-Do-mentality with strong communication skills
  • Strong interest in new technologies and deep tech software
  • Quick comprehension and analytical mindset
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Good communication skills and fluent in both English and German
