PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Customer Adoption and Usage Management is SAP’s central unit which collaborates with the very first customers for new SAP solutions before and immediately after they are released to the market. This includes a strong alignment with regional + local SAP sales & consulting stakeholders, partners, SAP User Groups and individual customer interaction. Internally we strongly collaborate with the Software Development and Product Management units.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
The working student (f/m/d) will work together with the Customer Adoption Program Lead for Digital Supply Chain & IoT. He/she will support in program management and related reporting activities of the SAP Customer Adoption Services for these two units. The results and progress of this service are presented monthly to SAP’s Executive & Senior Management and adapted regularly based on our quickly evolving environment.

These are main tasks of the working student (f/m/d):

  • Support DSC & IoT Customer Adoption Program Lead in Program Management, Program Reporting, Customer Project Transparency, etc.
  • Communicate with SAP employees in sales and consulting, i.e. to clarify project content, timelines and milestones as well as to offer customer support from the program.
  • Responsible for selected day to day operations i.e. identify new SAP DSC as well as IoT customers and then next steps as communication with Account Executives.
  • Responsible in conjunction with Program Lead for driving customer insights and feedback activities of customers using SAP’s DSC & IoT solutions. Example tasks would be aligning customer insights and feedback with further SAP units as account teams, Digital Business Services as well as Product Management.
  • With growing experiences in DSC & IoT customer projects, the working student may himself/herself exchange with customers under the guidance of the Program Lead.

Min. employment duration: 6 months, min. working hours per week: 12, preferred start 01.06.2020 or earlier.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences:
  • Studying preferably in the fields:  Economics, Finance, Data Science, Business Law, Business Engineer, computer science / computing
  • Having the following computer skills: MS Office especially Excel
  • Speaking: English fluently, German as a plus
  • Team player, creative, structured, communicative, result oriented
