PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The SAP Customer Experience (CX) organization is an SAP subsidiary (former SAP Hybris) with its headquarters in Munich. SAP CX develops modern web application solutions, such as web Commerce (SAP Commerce), CRM, Marketing (SAP Marketing Cloud) and opensource projects (Kyma). Development targets are both on premise and cloud, with a focus on a new, scalable technology stack.
As SAP takes Security serious for both itself and its customers, CX has a central Security team in the product development that collaborates with the SAP Global Security team (SGS) and provides security assistance to the CX development teams. Tasks within this team include:

• Threat modelling of new and existent solutions in a risk-based fashion
• Penetration testing of new and existing solutions
• Support of developers and architects in achieving secure solutions within the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (S2DL)
• Assistance with Security tooling, Guidelines and knowledge for the developers
• Research on current security topics within the organization
• Assistance in topics regarding data privacy and protection (GDPR, CCSL)
• Assistance in Security escalations

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
In your position you are expected to learn about IT security and security testing, in order to then assist the team in security testing and analysis tasks. Overall, your tasks will include:

• Testing of targets in a pentesting fashion, including the documentation of findings for the developers in an understandable, reproducible fashion
• Participation in threat modelling and security consultancy related meetings or workshops
• Support with static and dynamic code analysis
• Research of security topics with presentation of the results to the team and other colleagues

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Student at a university or a university of applied sciences
• Preferred fields of study: Business informatics, Computer Science or related subject
• Computer skills: Java, basic understanding of IT security and related topics
• Additional IT skills: CI Tools like Jenkins, GIT, OWASP ZAP
• Language skills: Proficient English mandatory, German a plus
• Soft skills: Good oral and written communication skills, team oriented working

WORK EXPERIENCE
Previous working experience in computer science related fields is appreciated, though not a must
