Inside the Regional teams of AccorHotels GPO, the Junior Category Manager is responsible to ensure hotels in the region can benefit from the best quality and purchasing conditions for the categories under his umbrella. He executes the local procurement strategy and the range management. This person is part of a small team responding to the Country/Regional Senior Category Manager, and works jointly with the “ Base “ International Category Management team.
Offer range management (Local & Gobal categories):
- IT hardware and services solutions
- telecommuncation voice / data infrastructure and Services
- guest technologies like WiFi, TV, PABX and Locks
Procurement/Sourcing Management:
- maintain and develop existing services and supplier solutions
- collect, track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
- relationship management with the suppliers and review contract fulfillment
- preparing and executing of tenders
- project documentation and contract management
Coordination on Global categories and international contract roll-out:
- Support & coordination with BASE for identification and deployment of best practices, synergies & massification potentials, highlighting local specificities
- Local implementation of international deals
Customer relationship building as country/regional category expert:
- consult and support customers (hotels and owners) in regard of the supervised categories
