PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES 

SAP will create a “Demand Generation department” for SAP S/4 HANA in the cloud (S/4 HANA = fourth version of SAP Business Suite) based on working students (f/m/d). The team will be the sales-related bridge between marketing and the final sales. As part of the direct customer approach, the students (f/m/d) will call the decision-maker (often CIO or CFO) and try to convince him / her for a S/4 HANA follow-up appointment. This initiative strives for a generation of more valid S/4 HANA sales opportunities.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

This “Demand Generation department” offers students the opportunity to get direct insights into a strategically important SAP sales unit. The students will get direct customer contact and will perform high-value, responsible sales tasks.
Initially, the students will be provided with the relevant product knowledge about S/4 HANA. 
Apart from the telephone campaign, it is also conceivable that the students support the following customer appointments (Skype meetings and on-site-appointments throughout Germany).
The operation is mainly in German.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Preferred fields of study: Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Business Informatics
  • Computer skills: Word, Excel, PPT  
  • Language skills: German, English
  • Soft skills: Team-minded, empathic, communicative, self-generated initiative, conflict-capable, understanding, prioritizing 

WORK EXPERIENCE
No work-related experience is required.
Beneficial are former sales activities or interacting with people (convincing people).

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
