PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Banking and Insurance companies (Financial Services Industry) face tremendous changes now and in the future. This is mainly driven by the increasing digitalization, fast growing amounts of information (big data) and increasing demand through regulatory requirements. This makes Banking and Insurance a strategic growth market for SAP: our international teams, located in Germany, India and North America develop modern and intelligent industry solutions based on SAP HANA. We follow the agile working methodology and practice a trust-based working model.

You will work on research and prototyping applications exploring machine learning methodologies to further automate and improve business processes in Banking. This will comprise the areas of transformation, classification and annotation of structured and unstructured data for automation and analytical purposes. Main focus will be on one or some of the following:

  • Test and process automation
  • Information extraction and data analysis
  • Deep learning
  • Data mapping and transformation
  • Application of suitable ML methods and algorithms to business cases
  • Integration of SAP products and ML solutions in the context of banking business processes

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
You will work as part of the FS Digital Core team to implement process automation solutions and/or machine learning algorithms that help improving existing banking processes and creating new solutions.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Preferred fields of study: : Informatics, Mathematics, Physics or related fields
  • Computer skills: Skilled in programming languages, such as Python, Java, JavaScript
  • Language skills: Fluency in English and German language
  • Soft skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
