PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Customers expect fast ROI with low cost and low risk, so one of SAP’s success factors for the future is the ability to offer simple and rapidly implementable solutions.  S/4HANA, SAP’s next-generation ERP business suite, was designed with this in mind from the start. Users of S/4HANA enjoy a new end-to-end consumption experience that includes a “Guided Configuration” approach to customization.
Guided Configuration puts configuration settings or “implementation content” in the customizing tables of an S/4HANA system. Our development team is responsible to develop the financials implementation content to make simplified customizing a central part of the S/4HANA product.
For the development team in Walldorf we are looking for a working student (f/m/d).
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Amongst others, your tasks will include:

  • Being involved in the whole development cycle of preconfigured content for S/4HANA.
  • Supporting team members in their daily work.
  • Running check programs and validating the results.
  • Reporting defects using SAP issue tracking system.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or university of applied sciences
  • Language skills: Fluent English required.
  • Motivation and work ethic are more important than technical skills for this position.
  • Familiar with spreadsheet software e.g. Excel
  • Soft skills: Team player with good communication skills and used to working independently.

The position is located at SAP Headquarters in Walldorf and the duration is 6 months, 2 days a week (or more).

Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
