PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Data Management & Landscape Transformation (DMLT) team is a global Service Delivery organization within the Board Area Digital Business Services.
We enable our customer’s business to intelligently connect people, data, and processes.
Digitalization and business innovation require companies to adopt new technologies and platforms, such as for example, SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SAP Leonardo, and Cloud. New business models or changed business requirements often result in the realignment of a company’s business or corporate structure.
All of this gets reflected in various IT-based activities: data migration, data management, data integration, system consolidation, process harmonization and optimization – to name a few.
We, DMLT, offer full solution packages - service/support/product/tools – for this, starting from early customer engagement with strategy and roadmap definition, solution architecture, project management, consulting and project execution. The service portfolio ranges from short term engagements to long-term customer projects.
Due to our key role in enabling our customers to transition into the digital economy by adopting SAP’s new technologies and platforms, we are growing and are significantly evolving our service & solution portfolio.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • You develop the next-generation technologies that change how users connect, explore, share and interact with information and one another. We're looking for developers who bring fresh ideas from all areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, UI design and mobile. We need our developers to be enthusiastic to take on new approaches across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.
  • With a lot of customers touching our app daily to share and distribute our DMLT services every member of our team has an opportunity to make a big impact and know that the app you develop will receive lots of visibility, both internally and externally.
  • Your tasks contain research, design, and develop application to make our user's interaction more powerful, and seamless. Improving interaction methods, creating immersive and portable versions of our products or managing relationships with a global community of developers, the Mobile App Team is giving you DMLT Knowledge on the go.
  • Making the users information universally accessible and useful doesn't stop at the desktop. The Mobile App Team builds tools to get you the information you need no matter where you are.
  • Design of a great UI while taking UX best practices as well as platform-specific design guidelines into account and build application for iOS
  • Concept, modeling and realization of the DMLT iOS app, further development of existing iOS App
  • Design of innovative features for applications and services in agile cross-functional teams
  • Ensure that features are being delivered efficiently and on-time
  • Participate in architectural review and design, and code contribution

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Preferred fields of study: Computer Science or Engineering
  • Computer skills:  ABAP, iOS, Microsoft Office, Previous work experience around mobile app development is a plus, but not required.  
  • Language skills: Good knowledge of English or German (speaking and writing)
  • Soft skills: Very good communication skills, ability to work in a team efficiently, responsibility, good self-organization skills and willingness to learn    

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
