PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The team at Enterprise Analytics assumes the SAP-wide ownership for management reporting/planning and in this context drives SAP’s Business Intelligence strategy, promotes the actual usage of BI solutions in tight collaboration with the business BI-, development- and IT teams. The team is an execution-focused organization collaboratively working cross functions to ensure the adoption of best practices and enabling a scalable, world-class analytics foundation fully leveraging technology innovations to provide global transparency out of one single source of truth reporting system. In addition, the Enterprise Analytics function delivers pre-defined services with a clear customer focus on the best leverage of economies of scale. At Enterprise Analytics, we have full access to all of SAP’s massive amounts of data and are always aiming to make the very best of it.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Support a dedicated data science projects in all steps (along CRISP-DM cycle) with the goal of delivering practicable insights and fully automated predictive scenarios
• Combine multiple methods (regressions, time series) with the goal to find the optimal approach for a specific forecasting task
• Usage and application of data science and machine learning tools and practices (Python, R, SAP Predictive Analytics, PAL, APL, …)
• Work with technologies like SAP HANA, Kubernetes, SAP Cloud Platform, Azure, and other related products
• Support the creation of customer facing deliverables using BI solution like SAP Analytics Cloud
• Work in a young, dynamic team together with many stakeholders across the organisations within SAP
• Develop ML pipelines and ML management tools (UI + backend)

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Student at a university or a university of applied sciences
• Knowledge of R, python and statistical / ML methods required in the field
• Knowledge of NLP
• Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform
• Knowledge of data bases
• Curious, fast learner and entrepreneurial spirit (don’t worry, we will be there for you but you will be in the driver seat)
• Experience in working on relational databases and with BI Tools
• Excellent level of English and German
