PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
As part of the Global Product Management team, we co-innovate with customers in building a new solution for Service Parts Planning using SAP IBP and SAP S/4 HANA.

Global and interconnected supply chains of companies in manufacturing and distribution industries have an immense impact on the requirements for supply chain planning. Intelligent algorithms for customer spare parts demand prediction and the optimization of inventory and production capacity across a network of warehouses and production sites are core components of state-of-the-art software applications. Innovative methods such as machine learning and predictive analytics are becoming increasingly important. To meet our customers' requirements for intelligent spare parts planning, SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and S/4 HANA provide an integrated set of planning processes for demand planning and forecasting, inventory optimization, distribution planning as well as production planning and capacity optimization.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
We are looking for a working student to support the overall design and development for Supply Chain Planning. Tasks will include:

• Design and development of offline demos using UI5 and marketing videos
• Communication via multiple channels such as the internal JAM (Collaboration) pages, writing articles and assets.
• Overall Project Management Support
• Generating innovative future product ideas
• Market and competitor analysis

You will have the opportunity to collaborate and connect with a range of colleagues globally in SAP Product Management, working in a start-up-like setting.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Currently enrolled as a Student at university or university of applied sciences. Ideally Masters and Preferred field(s) of study: Business Informatics, Software Engineering, Computer Science
• Computer skills: Programming languages (keen interest in learning UI5 development), Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Language skills: Fluency in English
• High level of Communication Skills and Intercultural Awareness & respect. Demonstrate a high level of orientation and “can do” attitude.
• Independent work style, affection to product management 
• Previous work experience is an asset
