Meet our customer, Europe’s leading provider of advanced Enterprise Content Management software. Currently we have a job opening in the Amsterdam office for a Senior Technical Tester.

Team and responsibilities
The Development Lab of our customer is responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining all products. In order to do this the R&D team keeps a close eye on new architectures, technologies, methods and open (Internet) standards; they use XML, XSL, COM, Java, .Net, and J2EE to design and develop market leading products.
Your role consists of designing, planning, and executing technical tests, and reporting results to development structurally. The focus of these testing efforts is on performance and stability of the flagship product, which is used by our 300+ customers to create, manage, and distribute content on an enterprise scale.

Skills, experience and personality
• Degree or equivalent in computing or some related field.
• At least 5 years experience of testing/developing in a software release cycle in a senior technical capacity
• Experience with load and performance testing software, particularly Radviews Webload
• Experience with technical test automation, execution and analysis as well as writing and executing manual test scripts.
• Programming and scripting experience, particularly JavaScript and SQL
• Proven experience of working within a Software Development Life Cycle, using defect tracking systems, assigning responsibilities, coordinating tasks and planning resources to meet deadlines
• Ability to work within a team and communicate issues clearly at a technical level
• Experience with XML (and associated technologies), RDBMS (MS-SQL and Oracle) and Microsoft Operating Systems and Webservers (IIS)
• Familiarity with the following technologies is a pre: Visual Source Safe, Java, COM, .NET, Unix, LDAP Security.
• Excellent written and verbal English

The best testers work in a structured way and have an eye for detail, yet also imagination is required to increase test coverage.
Joboffer
The salary indication is about € 3.000,- gross a month. There is a 13th month.
