The company
Our client is part of E.ON Ruhrgas AG. E.ON Ruhrgas, a subsidiary of E.ON AG and one of Europe’s leading gas companies, is focusing on the trans-European gas business. Thay are rapidly expanding and is looking to recruit exceptional individuals as part of its continuous policy of internally training recruits in the wide range of skills necessary to meet the challenging energy industry requirements.

Our client is currently offering a full-time (36 hrs) position for a Dispatcher to join its Team. The position will be based in The Hague and due to the nature of certain projects, occasional travel may be required to other corporate offices in Europe.

Responsibilities
The company already has seven dispatchers and to complete the team there is an immediate opportunity for an HTS (Technical College) graduate with an analytical background who will work within the Operations department. The main task of the Dispatcher will be to operate the company’s dispatching systems and execute the day-to-day dispatching: maintaining physical gas operations including gas balancing, transportation and storage management. Candidates should be accurate, reliable, responsible, outgoing and enthusiastic. Furthermore the candidate must be willing to work 24/7 shifts.

The 24/7 shifts are based on a regular forward rotating schedule, which consists of five weeks in which you will work morning, evening and night shifts.

Skills Required
The ideal candidate will have the following profile:

- Technical College (HTS) graduate
- Team player
- Good numerate and analytical skills
- Excellent knowledge of Excel.
- Basic understanding of the energy market is appreciated
- A professional approach, flexible, reliable and good communication skills
- Willingness to take on responsibility and follow strict procedures
- Fluency in Dutch and English is essential - German language skills would be an advantage.
