Our client is a worldwide electronics company offering a broad spectrum of electronic components and equipment, including switching power supplies, color monitors, EMI/RFI filters, magnetics, networking components, chip and power inductors, resistor networks, DC fans, Spindle Motors and Stepping Motors. Their strong capabilities in product design, manufacturing, automation and quality assurance makes them the preferred supplier to OEM customers and distributors globally.

For the European Sales Team we are looking for:

Jr. Sales Manager Lighting
Hoofddorp/Eindhoven/Germany

Job description
• Promote the sale of company products through direct and indirect sales calls or via tradeshows.
• Closely interface with Application Engineers and inside Customer Support to promote a technical sales approach.
• Provide input to Product Management and Customer Support Teams in the area of sales policies, pricing, advertising and specific market requirements.
• Liaison between customer and company.
• Report directly to Business Development Manager
• Analyze implications of current and new technology, as well as competitive product solutions.
• Create RFQs; conduct in-field evaluations and competitive analysis as required; develop front-line customer service scripts and troubleshooting guides.
• Oversee development of service documentation; and perform various business presentations for internal and external audiences as required.

Job requirements
• Must have a BA or BS in engineering/technical field or Sales/Marketing. Prefer BS in Mechanical Engineering. 2 years minimum vehicle electronics related work experience preferred.
• Must have a high mechanical aptitude, excellent communication/interpersonal skills, excellent organizational/prioritization skills & excellent presentation skills.
• Must be proficient in MS Office applications.
• Independent and a highly driven personality.
• Frequent travelling required.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Strong analytical skills. Organization skills are important and the ability to manage tasks concurrently.
• Aftermarket experience is a plus.
• SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Proficient in English and German.
