EVENT OVERVIEW

As we look for our next generation of SAP Analytics Cloud Developers, we like to take a more inspired approach to exploring our company culture.  SAP encourages a fast-paced, start-up environment while being a leading global organization, but we also open ourselves up to be more inviting beyond just the corporate setting.  We aim to engage and interact with our audience in a more open setting.

On Tuesday June 11 at 5 pm CEST, SAP is taking over the Palmengarten in Frankfurt for a free exclusive networking event.  Attendees of this event will be able to connect with various diverse members of the SAP community from all over Germany and speak about the opportunities with hiring managers, senior leaders in our company, and recruiters. 

Of course, we aren’t coming alone.  SAP has invited award-winning darts players to compete live for the event.  They will bring their skills and insights as darts champions to entertain all attendees.

INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW

We are building SAP Analytics Cloud, the next generation, industry-leading cloud analytics platform combining business intelligence and planning with predictive. Our team is growing fast, and we are constantly in the pursuit of fresh innovations with the most user-friendly and modern cloud experience. Help us shape the future!

As an intern in our team, you will: 

• Develop and improve our cloud analytics platform, SAP Analytics Cloud, using JavaScript and React in addition to our own technology, SAP HANA. 
• Understand our development process which follows the principle of continuous integration, and using the latest tools such as Git, Gerrit, Jenkins and JIRA with custom tailored extensions in conjunction with in-house developed software. 
• Work closely with our designers to provide our customers with fresh, friendly, and elegantly simple user experiences no matter their function or role within the application. 
• Engage with our product management team and customers to better understand the needs and workflows of end users and collaborate on concepts for new functionality.
• Work with a group of exceptionally talented and motivated developers. 

You will be or bring:

• A student who can challenge the status quo and likes to stay curious
• A student of a university or university of applied sciences (preferred Computer Science or equivalent proven experience)
• Strong programming skills in HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS
• A deep knowledge of software design and software architecture 
• Experience with databases and SQL 
• Experience in working with SAP products such as SAP HANA (preferred)
• Good interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication skills
