PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The research project ENERA develops and tests innovative processes to manage the production, distribution and consumption of renewable energies in smart grids of the future. As part of the enera consortium the SAP team develops a prototype to evaluate the applicability of cloud technologies in general and the microservices architecture style in the context of the Offer-to-Cash (O2C) business process chain. An important task of the team is to prepare demos which help gaining early feedback from SAP-internal stakeholders as well as from project partners and potential customers.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Contribute to the implementation of our proof-of-concept prototypes in a microservice environment
• Support by the preparation and tests of project demos
• Work on integration scenarios with existing SAP solutions

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Student of Computer Sciences, Business Informatics or related subject at university or university of applied sciences
• Programming skills in at least one of the following are expected: Java/Spring Boot, JavaScript/HTML5
• Knowledge of software build processes, CI/CD Tools (e.g. Jenkins, Travis CI) is a plus
• Good written and verbal language and communication skills in German and English
• High motivation and self-driven team player
