PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
This role will support the regional HR Office for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) , MEE (Middle & Eastern Europe) and GC (Greater China) regions to drive strategic and operational projects and programs that relate to, and support, the HR organization, among others (i.e. Sales). Key aspects include supporting regional HR projects and various HR core processes such as performance and talent management, Reporting and Analytics tasks, and ad-hoc requests.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As an intern in the regional HR Office for the EMEA, MEE and GC regions, your tasks will include:

  • Supporting business teams in core HR processes: Performance review, compensation, talent review, succession management, organizational set up, internal communications;
  • Be actively involved in building on and executing our 2017 HR Strategy and 2020 People Strategy;
  • Gather and analyze key HR metrics (incl. quarterly business reviews, employee survey results, attrition figures, etc.) and provide recommendations for improvement;
  • Be actively engaged in a variety of different strategic projects, such as e.g. Leadership Development, Learning Culture, HR Business Partner Enablement, HR Thought Leadership. etc.;
  • Play an active role in the team by sharing your perspective, showing your personality, and developing great ideas.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Student - preferred field(s) of study: Business Administration; Organizational Psychology; Economics
  • Computer skills: MS Office; SAP Applications preferred
  • Language skills: fluent in English; fluent in German preferred
  • Soft skills: strong analytical skills; highly self-driven and proactive; strong communication skills; outgoing; execution-oriented
  • Others: project management experience preferred
