PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The global CoE for Maintenance Controlling is responsible to actively manage the P&L for SAP’s maintenance business including maintenance revenue as well as cost of support. Under this remit, the team is in charge of the implementation and optimization of planning models as well as forecast and actual analyses.  Furthermore, the team acts as interface to the other Board Areas for maintenance revenue topics whilst supporting other controlling teams within the same Board Area.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Support planning and budgeting processes for business and financial KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly Management Reporting
  • Master data management / support of re-organizational changes
  • Project support

The aim is that the candidate, after the induction phase, will be able to work independently on and take responsibility for specific tasks within the DBS Global Maintenance controlling team.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Student at a university or university of applied sciences - preferably in the areas of business administration / finance
  • Skilled in the MS Office applications MS Excel and PowerPoint; initial experience with BI systems is an advantage
  • Fluent in either German or English, with good spoken skills of the second language
  • Accuracy in work and with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and within teams, and possess good communication skills
  • High level of commitment and initiative
  • Existing practical experience in Controlling or Finance would be very advantageous
