Jobbeschreibung

SAP started in 1972 as a team of five colleagues with a desire to do something new. Together, they changed enterprise software and reinvented how business was done. We believe that together we can transform industries, grow economics, lift up societies and sustain our environment. Because it’s the best-run businesses that make the world run better and improve people’s lives.

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP Security Research investigates data anonymization methods such as differential privacy and synthetic data to protect personal identifiable information to enable the use of data in the context of machine learning and data analytics. Differential privacy has already been adopted in the IT industry and provides a promising way to anonymize data with formal privacy guarantees. Our goal is the development of differentially private anonymization methods for new types of data as well as improving the trade-off between privacy and utility.

  • Present and communicate key results and insights from our research to internal audiences
  • Exact topics to work on vary over time and are subject to individual discussion. Some topics can provide a basis for a subsequent Master's thesis which we can discuss during the internship. The duration is flexible, but ideally 6 months.

  • Master’s student at university or university of applied sciences
  • Preferred field(s) of study: Computer Science, Statistics, or related field with strong CS background
