Ihre Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten

 

  • Apply epidemiological principles and methods and execute observational studies, e.g. with the aim to maximize differentiation potential for Bayer portfolio
  • Bring epidemiological perspectives, expertise, and recommendations in identification and design of observational studies and communicate these needs effectively to project and product team members and other relevant stakeholder groups
  • Identify and assess external data sources (health care databases, patient registries, others) for their utility in addressing scientific questions in observational research
  • Plan and lead projects as part of an integrated, multinational HEOR program to support products in all stages of drug development
  • Responsibility for driving the collaborative generation of a payer evidence strategy, the evidence deliverables and their communication through Global Value Dossiers (GVD), publications, etc. for a Bayer product/indication together with the main countries and the cross-functional global market access team
  • Ensure that the market access and payer perspective is integrated in the target product profile, the clinical development program(s), the real world evidence development program(s), and in the commercial strategy of the brand(s)
  • Provide timely strategic recommendations to early clinical development programs by identifying appropriate comparators, target patient populations, and endpoints (clinical, economic, patient reported outcomes) aimed at ensuring differentiation for the purpose of relative value demonstration, and by giving input to HPRs
  • Represent the MACS Data Support function, manage effective communications with various internal global/regional team(s), as well as appropriate external forums and meetings

 

 

Was Sie mitbringen

 

  • Advanced university degree (e.g. PhD, DRPH, ScD) in health services research, public health, epidemiology, health economics or a doctoral degree - preferred in a clinical discipline (medicine, pharmacy, nursing)
  • Long-term working experience in HEOR or epidemiology, ideally including a major fraction of experience in global pharmaceutical roles and in high-level HTA countries (e.g. US, UK, Canada)
  • Hands-on experience in conducting retrospective observational studies and in conducting health economics, health related quality of life, and/or health services research studies for a pharmaceutical company
  • Broad knowledge of global health care systems and understand needs for health technology assessment and market access
  • In-depth knowledge of clinical research especially clinical drug studies and drug development strategies - publication experience preferred
  • Strong project management skills and cross-functional team leadership experience desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required: ability to understand and respond to multiple internal and external customer demands and to manage and handle conflict constructively with limited supervisory support
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
