Jobbeschreibung
• Provide thought leadership in designing and implementing a systematic approach and uniform forecasting platform
to create long-term market-based and event-driven revenue forecast models
• Lead a team to build and maintain proprietary forecast models based on historic time-series patient models to
support the strategic planning process (StraCo) as well as identify risks and opportunities for competitive advantage
to senior management
• Facilitate the strategic planning cycle and work cross-functional across brand teams, regions, markets and Controlling
to gain input on key forecast assumptions
• Challenge assumptions in forecast models and ensure that appropriate methodologies, documentation and data
quality controls are in place
• Ensure the effective analysis of key market trends and product performance with quarterly KPI reporting and deep
dives for key stakeholders
• Manage key data sources (IMS, EvaluatePharma) and external data requirements for global Strategic Marketing
teams
• Provide overall leadership for direct reports including developing a cohesive and high-performing team
• Lead development of curriculum and content training for Commercial Academy and major must-win markets and
countries
• Manage department budget and relationships with key internal and external consultants, suppliers (e.g. IMS,
Evalueserve) and internal business stakeholders
• University degree (MBA, MS preferred) in a relevant field of statistics, marketing or management science,
economics, operations research, engineering, accounting, finance, etc. required
• Long-term experience of commercial analytics with strong business acumen and demonstrated accomplishments
• Several years of experience incorporating some of the following: global forecasting, revenue or price modeling and/or
decision analysis, finance
• Strong track record within the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on commercial data strategy, analytics and
forecasting in support of global teams
• Prior team leadership experience serving multiple business stakeholders
• Prior strategic planning/budgeting experience required
• Expert knowledge of relevant pharmaceutical data sources (IMS, Kantar)
• Solid understanding of the global healthcare environment and Intercultural sensitivity required as well as a global
experience preferred
• Executive presence and excellent communication skills required for regular interface with senior leadership
• Strong project management and analytical skills
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, second and third languages are a plus
