Instructional Designer, Material Development (m/f) in Köln
Learnship Networks GmbH is looking for a full-time Instructional Designer to join our international Material Development team in Cologne, Germany. Learnship is a global language-learning provider founded in 2008 and headquartered in Cologne, Germany. We are the first European-wide internet language school specializing in live online instruction, connecting students and trainers from all over the world by video-conference in an interactive online classroom. Learnship is looking for one full-time staff member to join our Material Development team in Cologne, Germany, for a duration of one or two years to start with. The selected candidates shall be willing to start as soon as possible.
What are you going to do:
- Creation of blended learning material
- Creation and formatting of online classroom material
- Content writing for learning material
- Design and layout of the material

What we ask:
- Native level English speaker; any other European or Asian language would be a plus
- Has a background in Instructional Design, Graphic Design or E-Learning
- Ideally has some knowledge of pedagogy or teaching
- Experience in designing material, ideally for a Learning Management System (LMS)
- Experience in working with Camtasia and Articulate Storyline or Adobe Creative Suite would be a plus
- Ability to work on tasks independently and to quickly learn new formatting skills
- An eye for design and detail
- High-level comfort with technology and enthusiasm for the product
- A ‘hands-on´ mentality and pro-active approach
- Enjoys working in a multilingual and multicultural team
