Technical Project Manager (m/f)

For Group IT - Delivery and Transformation we are seeking for a

• Accountable for delivery  in accordance with IT Delivery Framework and Thomas Cook Ways of Working - achieving project targets to scope,  timeline, quality, budget and technical solu-tion
• Represents overall project status and technical solution in milestone review, escalates con-flicts to Programme Manager, Head of Delivery or functional heads (as appropriate)
• Leads, coaches, challenges and motivates the cross-functional project team
• Drives continuous improvement of team performance within the project team
• Consulting and clearance of project goals with business stakeholders/sponsors
• Manage, prioritize and ensure the delivery of the projects, either with local resource or with the support of the IT teams from across the Group.
• Enforce adherence to the Group governance and processes

• Experienced project leadership capabilities that drives team engagement and produces high quality development deliverables.
• Excellent communication skills
• with a strong technical in some of the following: server hardware, networking, cloud de-ployment and Dev Ops, testing and implementation planning.
• Problem solver with the ability to question technical solutions and drive resolution of tech-nical issues
• Ability to prioritise work in a busy, fast-paced, multi-project environment
• Minimum 5 years experience of IT project management
• Bachelors degree / MBA preferred
• Project Management Professional Certification or equivalent

• Curiosity to maintain cutting edge knowledge of current and emerging technologies.
• Ability to communicate vision and ability to anticipate future business needs.
• Experience of Tour operator and packaged holiday business
• International experience
• English, German, French ( any an advantage), any European language
