We are building a search engine for online streaming - so you can find out where to watch movies and tv-shows legally on providers like Netflix, Hulu, or iTunes.

Our business model is to help movie studios advertise to the right audience. Therefore we are building a fully integrated AdTech stack to be able to target those fans. Our goal is to make movie marketing a lot more efficient for advertisers and a lot less annoying and more valuable for users. Hundreds of thousands of users already enjoy our content discovery and we're on track to be the largest streaming search engine worldwide in 2016.

We are looking for new technology team members who want to learn how to make distributed systems reliable, fault tolerant and highly available. On top, we're looking for a strong service attitude and good communication skills to continuously improve developer experience with fast builds, quick (canary) deployments, ChatOps, great metrics and sane alerting at a low false-positive rate.

Curiosity, drive and passion are the core ingredients we are looking for. We only want people who are willing to constantly learn through challenging themselves and others and who just love getting things done - because done is better than perfect. You don't need to have work experience in Go yet, but you should have had some exposure to the language already.

JustWatch is a tech and data driven company at heart, with strong additional skills in business, marketing and sales. Our technology stack is based on a distributed backend in Go(lang), PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch and Docker, serving AngularJS Web and Hybrid Apps. All Services are highly available, interfacing via REST APIs and based on the 12factor methodology running at AWS.

Currently we are at eleven of twelve points in the Joel Test, striving for all of them.
