Finance Manager in Thailand

We are currently looking for a Finance Manager, Thailand to join our DHL eCommerce, Thailand team!
The Finance Manager, Thailand will be accountable for the smooth and efficient running of accounting function in Thailand. This role will be responsible for achieving excellent reporting and quality accounts payable management in compliance with internal and external audits, legal and statutory requirements and safeguarding company’s assets. The successful incumbent will also assist in preparation for budget forecast and assist in implementing and maintaining cost control mechanisms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Management and Financial Reporting
Analyze monthly financial results after closure of accounts to explain variances
Review, define and propose changes and development to the finance work processes
Prepare rolling forecast for the year and next 12 months based on history and sales expectations
Attend to and ensure all external and internal audit queries or request for information are resolved in a timely and effective manner.
Ensure customers’ agreements are cost sensitive
Ensure that financial controls and procedures are effective and adequate for accurate and timely preparation and submission of monthly financial and management reports.

Facilitate the development of team through personal involvement in coaching, mentoring and sponsorship.
Payments Management
Manage the payment process and ensure proper verifications and approval
Monitor and maintain record of payments in accounting system
Attend to suppliers’ queries, negotiate with suppliers on best credit terms and ensure timely and effective resolutions

Monitor and ensure the proper reconciliation of creditors’ statements of accounts to the balances in the Accounts Payable ledger.
Budgeting and Tax Compliance
Work with relevant functions to prepare the annual budget and monthly forecast
Provide financial, legal and tax consultancy advice to drive strategic investments decisions.
Support internal and external audit processes
Work with local finance team in achieving all tax compliance
Update, review and monitor actual cost against budget, as well as highlight and develop solutions on critical areas, or areas requiring attention.
Assume the roles and responsibilities of a user Administrator for salesforce.com and to support input of financial information per customer on a regular basis

Ensure timely debt collection and customer adherence to credit terms
Desired Skills/Experience
4 years relevant experience with 2 years accounting experience
Experience in Multinational Companies is advantageous
Experience in SAP
Good problem solving skills
Attention to details
Accounting, credit analysis and debt collection skills
Excellent Communication skills (English and Thai language since position will be based in Thailand)
