Content Coordinator for a multinational in Hoofddorp

For one of our clients we are looking for a Content Coordinator for the New Media Department.

As Content Coordinator you will work within the New Media department to develop, maintain, update and upgrade the TNT group sites. You will coordinate the provision of content (like press releases) and produce original and new material for publication on the TNT group sites. You will also work with content providers across the organisation to produce content using a variety of sources and publish the resulting material with the use of a content management system.

You will assist the department in searching relevant new items for the site. As Content Coordinator you will create and edit the overall structure of the websites and pages, of course in cooperation with the other members of the team.

Labor Agreements:
- salary within de range of € 2100 to € 2600 gross per month, depending on experience and background;

Requirements:
- degree or equivalent in a relevant subject or relevant experience;
- 1-2 years of experience in writing for the web and photo editing;
- fluent spoken and written English and one other language (preferably Dutch);
- good working knowledge of new media aspects, different browsers and the behaviors, Web standards (W3C rules), HTML, XHTML, XML, CSS, DOM JavaScript;
- flexible and responsible attitude, because of the publishing of press releases 24/7;
- good communication skills;
- stress proof and capability to work under high pressure.

To support this, they maintain the corporate identity manual for internet and intranet by making sure that all sites are compliant and kept up to a high standard. They enhance TNT’s reputation to their stakeholders to ensure the TNT Group sites are legally compliant and more transparent. The New Media department is also improving the quality of our content according to the results of the National and European Web ranking association.
