The World Future Council is looking for a Student Worker - Energy & Just Development (m/f/d) Location: Hamburg Start: March/April 2022 Working hours: 16-20 hours per week Report to: Programme Manager, Energy & Just Development Contract duration: 1 year with possibility of extension, if funding is available

Role
As student worker you support our Energy & Just Development team in the smooth implementation, communication and reporting of the work programme to accelerate the global energy transition.
Responsibilities:
- Manage communication tools for the Global Renewables Congress and “100RE-MAP”
- Compile presentations, letters and web texts on decarbonisation, climate change, renewable energy and just development
- Carry out administrative tasks (incl. budget monitoring, support project reporting)
- Manage workshop logistics (incl. bookings and organisation of conferences, workshops, side events and study tours)
- Assist in research and project implementation
Your profile:
- Commitment to our vision and eager to make our planet a bit more sustainable and equitable to live in
- You are a student in a relevant subject (e.g. international politics, climate ethics, political economy, environmental management)
- Fluent English and German in writing and speech, knowledge of Spanish or French is an asset
- You are a teamplayer with good office management and organisational skills
- Good computer skills: MS office, content management systems, web-based appliances
- Flexibility and creativity
